I had a full body deep tissue massage from Milagros and it was amazing. I can genuinely recommend getting a massage at the Sarumi Spa if you’re in the plaza de armas region of Cuzco.

If you get stopped in the street in Cusco by the ladies offering massages, this is actually a great place to go. The experience was definitely worth it. After all the walking, hiking, and altitude adjustment before and after Machu Picchu, my body really needed it, and they delivered.

They walk you through the oils they use and are flexible if you want to adjust the pressure or focus on certain areas. You can also negotiate the price or customize your service a bit, which is helpful.

They don’t do a full medical intake or detailed health questionnaire, but honestly, they still hit the right muscle groups and gave a strong, effective massage. The place is simple and cozy, but the quality of the work is what matters.

If your legs, back, or shoulders are tired from Cusco and Machu Picchu, this spot gets the job done and is worth it.
